Is Mold Bad
Mold growth in or around your property is dangerous for two reasons. First, when mold starts to grow, it feeds on the materials it is growing on, resulting in irreversible damage. Second, mold releases tiny spores and byproducts into the air which can irritate or be the cause of many illnesses. If these are breathed in, they can cause respiratory problems. Stachybotrys Chartarum (commonly called black mold) is one common form of mold found in properties that can lead to such problems.
No Conflict of Interest
We don't perform mold remediation, repair, or construction. We have no interest in the outcome of our inspections other than to ensure you have the information needed to return your home or office to a healthy state. Our expertise guides us and we never have a conflict of interest with regard to our findings and recommendations. We use a science-based approach and do only inspections and testing, never remediation.
Testing for Mold
Mr. Mold Inspector performs a thorough inspection and provides a detailed mold inspection report. Upon arrival a Certified Mold Inspector will do a full visual, looking for red flag areas along with air and or surface sampling. Performing an inspection with moisture testing and thermal imaging is crucial in providing a comprehensive report. Our reports include a mold remediation protocol, basically a guide on how to come out of it and get your property healthy again. A clearance report is provided if no mold is found, or if mold remediation has been done properly!
